Get cracking - Make sure RRP works for you!

RRP is bound to become daily business for most companies. And since it stretches beyond manufacturing and supply into the commercial arena, this could be a problem. Time to bring your staff up to speed and make sure your company is ready to turn this challenge into a competitive advantage! So ask yourself:

  • Are your marketing and sales executives knowledgeable enough?
  • Are they sufficiently equipped to challenge retailer requirements?
  • Do you struggle to effectively implement your RRP strategies across disciplines?
  • Are packaging specialists aware of latest developments in the marketplace?
  • Are production and supply chain suffienctly aware of latest trends and needs?
  • Is your RRP policy understood and lived by disciplines involved?

Would you like to leapfrog a little? A dedicated training program helps you advance effectively! For instance:

Retail Packaging for Marketing & Sales

Marketing and sales executives play a critical role in retail packaging decisions. Yet, not being packaging specialists, they find themselves often in the midst of an uncomfortable squeeze between retail requirements and organizational reluctance. Bringing commercial staff up-to-date on recent developments and equip them with sufficient knowledge and understanding will help companies to raise commercial standards considerably. Get better results. And much more efficient: faster on target - at lower cost:

  • Understand the nature of and drivers behind RRP / SRP
  • Latest developments in relevant markets
  • How RRP/SRP can help enhance the brand image
  • Integrate RRP/SRP prinicples in brand/merchandising strategy
  • Better equipped to negotiate with trading partners
  • Enhance internal collaboration and mutual understanding
  • Judge and steer packaging functionality and performance
  • Improve briefings and drive innovative designs

Impaqtum offers dedicated in-company training programs for this purpose. This way, companies can bring groups of executives up to speed instead of sending just one representative to a general course. We focus on the particular needs of the business, categories, countries and trading partners. We can work in interactive teams and discuss actual business cases without the risk of competitors listening in. A typical training will take 2-3 days: 2 days initial training. A 3rd "comeback" day can be useful to share experiences, problems and roadblocks after 4-6 weeks, and tackle particular needs.

A detailed proposal will be submitted on request!

ECR & Tools Update

Since 2006, ECR Europe and various national ECR/GS1 platforms have been trying to find to collaborative answers to the SRP and RRP challenge. Forums and conferences are regularly taking place. But do they always give the answers you're looking for? How many people are able to visit these events? And at what cost? Might it be more effective to run an in-house show dedicated to your particular needs? And make sure all relevant and responisble people in your organisation share the same level of understanding?

A number of useful tools, like the ECR Business Case method for SRP, have been published lately. This does not mean they are as easily understood and applied as we probably all had hoped for.

The one tool you should definitely not miss is the ECR Score tool for SRP (RRP) execution. This tools helps to understand the implication of the 5 Easy's for in store applicability by assessing some 30 performance indicators.

Impaqtum applies a more elaborate version of the published toolkit. This will allow you not to focus just on SRP, but consider a wider RRP approach as well. The tool will help to compare actual vs required performances; identify problems or compare alternatives.

A training session will include:

  • Background knowledge & understanding
  • Toolkit application
  • Business case practice

All training programs will be tailored to meet specific company needs.
